YEY, this is officially my first blog post ever :)

I came a few weeks ago across a new awesome video from Boston Dynamics - Introducing Handle. It remembered me again of how I loved to work with microcontrollers, electronics and hardware and that I should go with it again just for fun. I kept thinking about it, what new project could I start to work on, looking up some sites and things...

For my Bachelor's thesis I worked with a Lynxmotion AH3-R hexapod, but since that time the robot is just nicely packed and deposited somewhere in my flat. So now, this seems to be the prefect opportunity to unpack it and to build a newer version of it, using mainly Python and the newest tech available. It would be an evolutionary step from the first version what I have built back then in school, which I may describe later in an article.

I also decided not to keep this project just for me, but to share what I did and my experiences on a blog and GitHub, so here we are.

Stay tuned!
